Stephanie Schultz is the VP & Head of Emerging Strategic Partnerships in Amex Digital Labs. In this role Stephanie focuses on forming new strategic partnerships and finding ways to make American Express a more essential part of customers’ digital lives by creating seamless digital payment and servicing experiences.
Stephanie has been at Amex since 2009. Most recently she has worked on key peer-to-peer, wearable, messaging and voice partnerships including PayPal, Fitbit, Facebook, Google, Amazon and Apple. Stephanie helped ignite Amex’s mobile payment partnerships and led the roll out of Google Pay in the US and spearheaded an expansion deal to extend Amex’s participation in Google Pay to the UK, Australia, Canada & Singapore. She has also launched multiple other digital partnerships & products including TripAdvisor, Amex Pass for Apple Passbook, and the Amex Sync with Twitter partnership.
Prior to joining Amex, Stephanie worked at Consultants 2 Go® where she managed the company’s email and social media marketing strategy. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Lafayette College.

The future of fiat money itself is in jeopardy due to the emergence of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Yet cybersecurity lags far behind the adoption of new digital tools.
