Joe Whittinghill leads the team responsible for activating culture and learning, building world-class leaders, and enabling the workforce of the future for Microsoft. He has expertise in organizational and executive development, the neuroscience of leadership, and has led the creation of Microsoft’s Leadership Principles that are at the core of the company’s cultural transformation.
Prior to this role, Joe worked in mergers and acquisitions for 10 years, with the final 6 years as the General Manager of the Venture Integration Group. During his twenty years at Microsoft, he has held a variety of other roles within the company.
When not working, Joe is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly-fishing, camping, and spending time with family in Montana and Hawaii.
